Beautiful city of Vancouver

American Odyssey is hitting TBEX for the first time. TBEX is the Travel Bloggers Exchange who holds an annual conference where travel bloggers worldwide get together to share ideas, network and learn from resourceful seminars.

We are definitely on the new end of the travel blogosphere and are ready to soak up the knowledge and experience from our peers.

Who are we?

We’re a couple about ready to start our new media road trip. We’re going to travel the U.S. by RV, documenting, sharing, connecting and exploring along the way. Our main focus is going to be creating a weekly webisode series to share what we learn along the way.

Why are we at TBEX?

1. To learn from other travel bloggers. What works? What doesn’t? How can we make money? Should we be more or less focused?
2. Networking. Meet & greet with other bloggers & PR folk that focus on U.S. travel and road trips, in particular. Get tips on people, places, events and the logistics of taking on such an ordeal.

An added bonus of TBEX this year is that it’s in Vancouver. I always say that Vancouver is the city I have yet to fall in love with. Everything about it makes me excited. Being surrounded by water is a huge plus, there are tons of bridges, beaches and places to enjoy the water and sights. It’s a metropolitan city. The people are all a-bustle and the food is supposed to be amazing. The weather is comfortable and moderate. There are beautiful mountains and greenery everywhere. I have been intrigued by this city and can’t wait to explore it myself.

Well, it’s off to TBEX & Vancouver to see what all the hullabalooo is about !.
